Northfork Farm Wedding
When Lisa contacted me about doing her wedding I was thrilled. She herself is a photographer so the pressure was on to really give her the most amazing wedding images which I think we did. Her and Aaron were just so in love. During the ceremony letters they had written each other were read by the officiant unknown to them. Their wedding was at Northforks farm in Oswego which was the perfect rustic setting with all of their gold accents throughout. Aaron and Lisa performed a thank you rap for all of their guests to start of the reception which was a huge hit. Did I mention that they had a bouncy house at their wedding! That was a blast, I was so excited to get in there with them for some awesome portraits. They finished the night off with a sparkler exit. Enjoy the photos from their day!

Winfield Lifestyle Newborn Session
I was so flattered to be asked to photograph my boyfriends sister's new baby Cooper. Cooper did a great job for his first photo session and even gave a little smile when he was in his bears attire. I am thinking he is already a fan like his mom and dad are. I love photographing newborns in a lifestyle approach without all the heavy posing. Take a look at some of their session here!
Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club Wedding
I was so happy to photograph Nicole and Sebastian's wedding on June 18th this summer at The Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club. I knew that they were a sweet couple from working with them at their engagement shoot but all of their friends and family were amazing as well. It's not often you have a member or the wedding party worried if you and you second photographer need water. The energy of the whole group was infectious and stories of the nights before dip in the pond had us all cracking up.
Sebastian and Nicole first got ready at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort which had the most amazing light and location for their photos before the ceremony. Nicole's dress was a gorgeous lace gown paired with adorable ballet flats.
After getting ready they decided to do a first look with not only her husband to be, but also her dad, there wasn't a dry eye anywhere and this daddy loved his little girl.
The ceremony was outside and just beautiful right in front of the lake. After that it was time to head inside to the reception and dance the night away! Enjoy the images from their wedding!

Chicago Osteria Via Stato Wedding of Tracy + Aileen
I was so excited to meet Tracy and Aileen a few months ago when they contacted me asking me about photographing their big day. We talked all about their love of family and friends and how they really wanted to treat them to amazing meal at the Osteria Via Stato and I must say it was some of the most delicious Italian food I have ever eaten. They had handmade guest name tags on spools of thread that were adorable. The cake they decided on was three different flavors and was decorated with the Chicago skyline around the base from The West Town Bakery. It was the most delicious cake and the only bakery and Chicago that promises completley nut allergy free. Their ceremony was beautiful and started with their nephew playing the violin as the flower girls, Tracy and Aileen walked in. It also included them locking letters to each other into a wine box. I had never seen that before and thought it was a nice touch. Please enjoy the images from their beautiful day.

Fabyan Forest Preserve Engagement Shoot
Whenever I get to photograph a fellow photographer I am excited, this was no exception. Lisa is just awesome and down for anything. Aaron is super laid back and used to being in front of the camera, another perk of photographing a fellow photographer. Lisa suggested the Fabyan Forest Preserve for their shoot, I had never been there before but am always up for exploring new places. The Fox river ran through the preserve which was gorgeous, and then there were these amazing rod iron gates and arches covered with foliage. It was a secret garden feel. Enjoy their shoot bellow!
Blackwell Forest Preserve Sunset Engagement Shoot
I met Charles and Dylan at Blackwell Forest Preserve in West Chicago this past week. Charles had been here many times in the past so it was his first choice for location and having shot here once before I was excited to photograph here again. We climbed up a giant hill to take some fun shots as well as checked out the dock over the water. I had so much fun with these two and hope you enjoy the images!
Lily Pond Engagement Shoot of Madeline + Craig
I met with Madeline and Craig this past Wednesday for their engagement shoot in my favorite spot in the city, South Pond. We could not have asked for a better night and we practically had the park to ourselves. All of the trees were in full bloom with flowers and the skyline from the kissing bridge was perfection. Madeline and Craig are high school sweethearts and have been dating for over 8 years. They will be getting married in Louisville. How sweet is that? They will be getting married on January 21, 2017 at St. Boniface, with their reception at The Brown Hotel in Louisville, their hometown! Enjoy the images from their session below.

I am so excited to share with you the engagement shoot of Todd and Brett. I am photographing their wedding in just a few short months in Lake Geneva. They live in the city and we decided on South Pond and the Lily Pond for their engagement shoot. They have to be one of the awesomest couples ever, not to mention me and Brett both went to Harrington College of Design and he also hates cilantro. He understands the struggle of HATING cilantro. South Pond Chicago Maternity Photoshoot of Michaela + Miguel
I met Michaela though our mutual friend Courtney way back in 2011 since I was photographing Courtney's wedding. I was so excited when she reached out to me a few months back when she first found out she was pregnant about doing a photoshoot with her and her boyfriend Miguel. We decided on South Pond which is one of my favorite spots in the city. We had the perfect day for our photoshoot with blue skies and puffy white clouds. Michaela was a natural in front of the camera and Miguel was great too. They are going to be such wonderful parents. Enjoy!
